Ex-Unit Moebius member and staple of Europe’s underground Jan Duivenvoorden may have precious few releases under his Nimoy moniker, but his self-titled and only solo mini-album is enough to propagate the myth. Nestled somewhere between electronic mood pieces and lo-fi techno groovers, Nimoy gives a precious taste of Duivenvoorden’s sonic world, from the synthesised lullaby of ‘We Are The Word’ to the extra-terrestrial electro of ‘The Orca Reunion’.
