Following the captivating Days Bygone, Nick Lapien and Robin Koek return with another Artefakt EP climbing ever deeper into their cavernous ambient techno sound. The Brain Dripper EP is full of both mind melting rhythms and reverb soaked synths, the title track a prime example as damp ambience sets the scene for a subterranean party of forcefully punching beats. Elsewhere, ominous and disembodied voices hum throughout ‘The West’, with skittering percussion like helicopter wings powering up, while thunderous synths arc across the sky in ‘1992’.
