Enigmatic Glaswegian producer Pub returns with first new EP in several years out again on Ampoule Records. Though it's taken 22 years, we find Pub logically following on from Summer, the 12" of dub techno released in 2000, with Autumn and what might be his most playful, braindance focussed release yet.

As its name suggests, the four tracks here seem to be in the shade of the setting sun closing on the end of Summer's endless glow, and moving with the season's organic pulse. There's a feeling of change drawn out by the warmth of endless reverb of the track's floating layered synths conjuring up the kind of bucolic electronics we could all do with finding ourselves falling back into like abundant fields somewhere in the countryside.
