Egyptrixx makes a welcome return with new material, and moves in glacial leaps and bounds through atmospheric synthesizer territory. A-side, 'Old Black' reworks a track from doom/drone pioneers, Earth, and the end result is an ominous four minutes of profound bass wandering, sparing synths and strong rhythmic structure. All in all, quite the beautiful piece of work. B-side, 'Hiawatha' takes a different perspective; less celestial and more antisocial in its nature, it packs in woozing synths and an atmosphere of cold electronics.
