'Consecration of the Whipstain' is Pat Maher's second widely available album under his Indignant Senility moniker. 'Consecration....' sees our protagonist working together with a wider and more varied sonic palette, roughly pasting together a cacophony of percussive elements together with ominous sounding drones and a selection of unknown samples to the effect that his work sounds remote and misplaced and like it belongs to a distant mysterious land. Beguiling stuff.
