New long player material from Mr. Oizo, AKA the film-maker and beat master extraordinaire, Quentin Dupieux. Part of the new wave of contemporary French electro that took over several years ago, Dupieux has been quiet of late, yet 'Stade 2' marks his return with thirteen tracks of blistering, and often caustic, rave fodder. Displaying an acidic sense of humour, as evident on his humorously titled tracks, Mr. Oizo turns in some offbeat sample work and unrelenting dance floor vigour.
