Prurient follow on from their highly acclaimed 'Bermuda Drain' album with 'Time's Arrow', an EP based around the subject matter of Elizabeth Short, the so-called 'Black Dahlia' murder victim of 1947 Los Angeles. The EP's theme does much to explain the general sensory feel of Dominick Fernow's new material - an unsettling night-drive through landscapes of brooding intensity, set to a varied back-drop of synth-wave hypnotism and unhinged percussion that takes Prurient into slightly more dance orientated climes. It all culminates in 'Maskless Face', an industrial noise freak-out, punctuated with the most spine-chilling screams you'll ever hear.
