Kansas born, Brussels based artist and musician, Christine Vantzou, perhaps best known as one half of the duo, The Dead Texan, unveils her own solo material - a rousing exploration into finely executed melodies and warmly textured compositions. A work-in-progress over the last three years, 'No.1' deftly makes use of a synthesizer, vocals, samples and a collaboration with Minna Choi of Magik*Magik Orchestra to create sixteen tracks of ethereal recording.
