A creep of wickedness pervades the ears as Peter Broderick takes us through an album's worth of material dedicated to a wave of murder in Idaho in the 1980s. The accompanying soundtrack to a documentary dissecting the horrific case, 'Confluence', Broderick's work is surprisingly sweet and delicate, more a dedication to innocence of life taken away. Fragile piano arpeggios, angelic whispers and mesmerising violin strings, though certainly tinged with an air of unease.
