Delsin Records have been digging through and remastering the discography of Simon Walley’s CiM project since 2020, giving a much needed refresh on his picturesque electronic visions. Warm Data from 2000 is the perfect title for a record that takes computerised sounds and adds an undeniably human touch, evident in the blissfully drifting ‘Do Not Multiply Models’, beginning as a microbeat lullaby and slowly sprinkling in breezy and subtle techno drum machines. Elsewhere, tracks like ‘Cable Car’ and ‘Disk Three’ explore glitching hip hop beats with fluttering electronica textures.
