London-based producer Moiré blossoms on an album of sophisticated leftfield electronics for the Berlin label Avenue 66. Circuits is strong release made of carefully-crafted, mellow tracks that take their time to build using emotive hooks and light-touch experimental percussion and textures. The end result is an album that has much more in common with 90s-early 2000s downtempo electronic and ambient techno than previous club-focused output, and is all the better for it.
