Parisian producer Emma DJ returns to L.I.E.S for another eclectic LP of in-the-red techno and hardcore entitled Melon Siesto. While less thematic than last year’s FUSION split LP with his Fusion mes Couilles rave co-conspirator Ishaq, Emma DJ remains as pointed as ever on Melon Siesto. The high-pierced synths and walloping low end on tracks like ‘Fuck A Festival’ and ‘Unlock The Level Of Hahaha’ is primed to burst the speakers on any kind of system, while the slow-mo electro closer ‘Subtitle’ exploring aquatic sonic depths.
