Bleep

A stunning piece of composition from deep down inside the mechanical epicentre of Nils Frahm's piano - cloaked in a blanket of reverb, timbre, exquisite melody and quite literally a blanket of felt. This all came about from a chance encounter with the perils of making music late at night, Frahm decided to dampen the sound of his piano by layering thick felt in front of the strings, microphones were also placed in the heart of the instrument resulting in a profound and fully immersive piece of work.
