Prolific UK star Al Wootton completes his trilogy of forest-inspired EPs for TRULE with the latest entry entitled Wyre. As with the preceding Callers Spring and Maenads EPs, Wyre is loaded with spartan techno rhythms, leaving plenty of room for dubby nature-inspired sound design. The opening track ‘Wynchwood Dub’ plays wind chimes and forceful hand drums off a simple, languid kick to great effect while the delayed steel drums and subtle sub bass on the title track are primed to kick off a night on the dancefloor or the woods.
