Genres
Downtempo kings Kruder & Dorfmeister are perhaps best known for their all-conquering ‘K&D Sessions’ album, in which they added their dub-infused style to a huge variety of tracks, taking in everything from Depeche Mode to Bone Thugs n Harmony by way of Alex Reece and Lamb. This earlier mix only features a couple of their own compositions, but occupies similar territory. Tracks from peers The Herbaliser, Aquasky and Thievery Corporation are effortlessly blended, creating a dreamy, blissed-out soundscape. Often imitated but never bettered this is a masterpiece of it’s genre.
