The first in a series of hugely exciting Shangaan remix installments come this time from legendary Basic Channel affiliate and one of the brains behind the 2010 Shangaan compilation, Mark Ernestus. Taken to the task of reworking the frenetic 180bpm speed of the original, Ernestus condenses its hyper-activity down to a hypnotizing and particularly engaging house groove punctuated with moody synths. A second version strips the components further bare for a sparse but verdant landscape of dubbed out bass.
