Given the chance to examine Conrad Schnitzler's sound library - a vast collection of audio files from over a period of over forty-years - Borngralber & Struever jumped at the chance and hear we see the fruits of their labour, or more precisely a labour of love. Arranging and con-structing the 'solen' (as Schnitzler likes to refer to them) into completely new and original compositions, B&S tread unique ground and yet manage to stay true to the master's legacy of pulsating ambient landscapes.
