For the third entry in their Solo Series, We’re Going Deep shine a spotlight on D5. Having released on Delsin since 2001, D5 is no stranger to the scenes of techno and electronica, and on this EP he shows his strengths well. These are utopian productions, both calming and club oriented with their combination of smooth, misty pads and punchy beats. ‘Red Analysis’ is a sparklingly light opener with bubbling layers of piquant synth melodies, while ‘No Analysis’ features more physical rhythms and a chugging bass.
