A virtuoso on the MPC60, he paints scenic sonics with his gear, using wide brush strokes across a variety of chilled out, lo-fi and lush beat landscapes. Reversed piano textures and crunchy drums roll like waves across many tracks, ‘Ocean Waves’ being a shining example with its coastal mellotron passages illustrating sunny reflections on the water. Elsewhere, ‘All You Ever Need’ throws glitchy clusters of kicks and subtle micro beats together in the EP’s somewhat abstracted highlight.
