UK legend Steve Pickton went back to the archives to resurface a couple gems from his beloved techno project Stasis for the De:tuned label. Plucked from his imperial ‘92-’93 era, these two unreleased tracks slot well within the cutting edge Detroit-indebted sounds of the time. The space travel electro of ‘Of All the Worlds’ on the A side takes a few beats to kick into gear like a UFO, while ‘The Embrace’ on the flip expertly rides a burly acid bassline straight into the ground. Nuron adds his own signature flair to “The Embrace’ with a celestial downtempo remix as well.
