The third instalment of the Kafkatrax series from Kompakt pioneer, Wolfgang Voigt, finally arrives from its existentialist lands. The story goes that with the exception of the bassdrum, all sounds were created from voices taken from a Franz Kafka audiobook and that the objective is a psychotic-paranoid, "kafkaesque" atmosphere. The haphazard programming, unrelenting drum patterns and drilling beats unwittingly underscore your unconscious personal journey into that very place. Highly recommended.
