The latest LP from the Zenker Brothers’ beloved Ilian Tape label is an extraterrestrial collection of ambient tones and zones from UK producer Prime Vertical entitled Escapist Eschaton. As always, Ilian offers very little in the form of PR, but the lines notes suggest this is music meant to soundtrack, among other bizarre things, “preparing food for the moon.” The space theme is apt, with tracks like ‘Pink Clouds and No Place to Live’ and ‘Saturn in the 12th House’ pointing towards life beyond Earth with their twin alien synth textures.
