Sonic Folkways sees the artist employing horns, percussion, and strings from all across the globe in service to an expansive sound. Though certainly influenced by classic futurists like Sun Ra, Sonic Folkways’ most out there passages (like ‘Moor’s Room’) are truly on their own path.
