Delroy Edwards’ L.A. Club Resource label returns in 2022 with a set of fuzzy and sizzlingly hot tape tracks made for midnight ravers. Presented and compiled by DJ Emanuel Pippin, friend and Chicago house extraordinaire Juju serves hard, thumping beats all over the EP. ‘Disco 1’ opens with shuffling, steady rhythms and thick, bubbling synths, making way for four to the floor quaking kicks, metallic rips, and seething sirens. These are heavy house cuts for even heavier club speakers.
