A busy Spring for the Spanish techno label Semantica Records continues with their latest compilation of dancefloor fillers entitled Draw The Line. With cuts from label mainstays Stanislav Tolkachev, Svreca, and Jonas Kopp along with some new special guests, Draw The Line feels like a distinct snapshot of European techno in 2022. The doppler radar synths on Sciahri & Desrole’s ‘Catharsis’ and the tricky hand drum rhythms of D-Leria’s ‘Movimento’ prove it isn’t all just four-on-the-floor stompers either.
