The latest from legendary Berlin club Tresor’s own personal imprint is an EP collab between Australian Jensen Interceptor and Ireland's DeFeKT entitled Free Your Mind. These two have plenty of heat to their names as solo artists, so it comes as no surprise that Free Your Mind is primarily for the dancers. The harsh synth stabs and heaving low end thud of ‘Alpha Klub’ recall the brutalist nature of their beloved homebase while the stuttering hi-hats on the closing ‘Nite Night’ drop some acid into the mix. According to the liner notes, Tresor’s 335th release is dedicated to Detroit and the pioneers of Electro, making it one of countless inroads between Berlin and the Motor City.
