Floating Points is back with his first proper electronic 12" in a long while, and we must admit - he has been sorely missed. A slow-house jazz bumper reminiscent of his Vacuum Boogie EP a couple years ago, this is where scientist Sam Shepherd comes into his own. Synths funkily stutter over a delicious 110 bpm percussion-laden backbeat with the occasional snippet of vocal-jazz scat. Designed for unlit but bright dancefloors in Plastic People. The B-Side Faruxz take a darker tone over skipping 2-step percussion. Incredible production and true exercising of his ability as a keys player, another gem in Floating Points slowly-growing discography of modern day classic underground dance 12"s.
