Ryan James Ford’s 2021 album Exshaw was inspired by the surrounding mountains and forests of his native Calgary, sitting in between the spheres of nature and techno. This follow up remix EP expands the intensity peaks and graceful valleys of the original tracks, with a selection of producers that reflect the full spectrum of nature’s complexity. MNLTH’s fountains of harp-like synths flourish on his ‘D614G’ remix, playing poetic melodies in an epic buildup to electrifying trance surges. Meanwhile, a torpedo barrage of rhythms from the Zenker Brothers snarl on the heavier end with their explosive remix of ‘KAKI’.
