The fearless exploration of PRES’s composers is presented in two volumes of foundational work travelling across four decades. Volume 2 is characterised by harsh yet evocative soundscapes, opening with a smattering of sonic manipulations exploring all the possibilities of ‘One Cymbal Stroke’. The pneumatic ‘Letters To M.’ slashes through the air, and guttural sounds crush on ‘Greya, Pt. V’.
