Manchester's Fumu returns to the Youth label with the long-promised Enter The Anima LP. Firing off the strength of last year’s Almost, Never, Nearly Where? compilation as well as a string of buzzed-about mixes and short-run CDs full of roughened-up UK club. Anima is plenty dark, but never dour with tracks like ‘Kiss Down’ that lower the tempo without losing heft alongside more lively cuts like ‘Forge Tide of Fire Inside.’
