Maltan producer Keith Farrugia continues his acid onslaught with a record under his Sound Synthesis alias for Electro Records’ “Sci Fi Electro” series. In his tribute to Steven Lisberger’s groundbreaking 1982 film Tron, Farrugia doesn’t need much instrumentation to create a thick, computerised atmosphere. Sparse cyclical beats and laser gun synths populate End Of The Line., with glowing glassy pads oscillating throughout like hard light circuitry. The B side boasts evocative ambience and synthwave echoes that tread even further into Tron’s virtual domain.
