UK-based Low Company presents the second release on their sublabel The News Cycle, a set of tracks dripping in the fresh ink of jungle microbeats from the mysterious Scheidung Online. With little context to offer besides sarcastic titles about quick and cheap divorce, this EP goes straight into the deep end with frantic and frenzied rhythms scurrying up the walls and ceilings. ‘Viel Guenstiger Als Gedacht’ finds pseudo-footwork under a microscopic lens, with laser engraved, spring loaded beats, and the atmosphere of ‘Guenstiger Gehts Nicht’ is waterlogged by incessant clanging and crashing, parting to reveal a stable four to the floor lying underneath.
