Canadian Jake Fairley returns with another EP of electronic exploration spread out over the 4-tracker. The opening track contains gothic vocals, layered harmonies that sits the often indistinguishable line between moody romance and apocalyptic synthscapes. Heavily reminiscent of the darker work of Vangelis, here lies a brilliant and rich release - as hypnotic as it is fascinating. As always from James Holden's Border Community imprint, quality is assured to the highest level.
