Alexandre Bazin returns to Umor Rex with a completely rhythmic EP drawing from techno, bass, electronica and the neue-schule side of Krautrock. This is perhaps an unexpected turn from a member of France GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales), a pioneering group of composers of electroacoustic and concrete music. In these pieces, Bazin draws from his experimental background and uses his compositional excellence in bringing together a range of contemporary styles, showing flair for exploring new territory.
