Boom Bip, also known as Bryan Hollon presents his first full-length album since 2005's "Blue Eyed in the Red Room". Heavy on the collaborations, the album features guest appearances from Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand fame, Luke Steele from Empire of the Sun, Cate Le Bon from Neon Neon, as well as Warpaint and Bon Iver popping up. Hollon takes one giant leap away from his hip hop roots to explore instrumental ambience, indie rock and pop-tinged sentiments. Definitely worth a look.
