When the lockdown of 2020 forced Jack Sharp to go solo, he refused to back down from the challenge. Away from his psychedelic folk rock band Wolf People, Sharp entered a writing frenzy that would eventually bear fruit as his new side project Large Plants, and its debut album The Carrier. Sharp’s crooning vocals trace around winding verdant pathways next to raw guitars that shred smoothly downstream. Soft 70s tinged harmonies blossom on the title track, opening the stage for upfront jukebox rockers to rumble onwards.
