Two uncompromising and inimitable forces in dance music finally converge on this 12”. Despite having long operated within the same nexus of post-dubstep dance musics, this is the first time Punch Drunk founder Peverelist and Hessle Audio have directly collaborated. ‘Dance til the Police Come’ on the A side moves between looping off-key techno chords, icy synth washes and jungle riddims. The B side, ‘Fundamentals’ is a sub-bass heavy number that evokes the claustrophobic and menacing sound of dubstep at its peak.
