With Pictures Music already laying claim on the inaugural releases of hotly tipped artists such as Dark Sky and Koreless, they seem to have a knack of finding your next favourite producer... Lapalux - aka Essex boy Stuart Howard is no exception. At only 22 years old, this debut release is a promising start to a name that we expect to hear a lot more of this year.

Blissful abstract soundscapes wash over you in abundance. With the terribly named genres of "hypnagogic-pop" and "witch-house" being in vogue of recent times, here sees the most promising equivalent offering from UK shores skilfully incorporating bass, electronic clicks, filtered electronics all with an underlying pop / R&B sensibility.
