Soul singer Fatima and UK producer Joe Armon-Jones join forces on an EP packed with 90’s R&B and soulful styles with plenty of light and shade. Across the EP Armon-Jones combines elements from jazz, hip-hop, and funk and the title track features a special guest appearance from Moses Boyd on drums, a key player in the contemporary jazz scene.

The sunny atmospherics across the tracks of ‘Tinted Shades’ certainly matches the EP title. However, the warm beats and sunshine soul are juxtaposed with sharp lyrics on trauma and loss in this latest from Fatima & Joe Armon-Jones.
