Following his first studio album in 25 years, Soichi Terada presents a selection of lively Asakusa Light remixes with Rush Hour affiliate Masalo. The album was named after “the light in my heart” that Terada found looking through past work and playing his old 90s gear, a feeling that Masalo amplifies with these euphoric club mixes. Like being lost in the middle of a metropolis, there are neon lights, winding streets, and bustling crowds etched into each bass-heavy kick and joyous whistle. Positive piano chord stabs and curious trance rhythms come together for an increased dosage of danceability.
