26 years later after the trio of Stuart Argabright, Kenneth Compton and Michael Diekmann arrived with their detailed, gernre-defying debut for Factory records, these three original members of Ike Yard have regrouped and recorded their second album, 'Nord'.

Picking up from where their benchmark debut left off, 'Nord', musically, concerns itself with the present and future - opposing a revival of their style from 1980-82; but just like back then, 'Nord' embodies the current, musical zeitgeist just as much as their debut ever did. An album of modern, granular electronics that merge with heavy urban dub, and stark, industrial, rhythmical dynamics. This compelling listen affirms its relevance today as much as their debut did back then.
