And so the 80s boogie revival continues... and no bad thing in our eyes. This time sees Rome-based producer, AD Bourke, release on the Citinite label. Cosmic synths, bugged out baselines and finger dexterity on the keys lead to a brilliantly fun album. Comparisons to Dam Funk are inevitable, but with a few glitchy chopped numbers and bass-weighted club numbers scattered throughout the album, AD Bourke draws his own distinctions from Stones Throw's boogie-man and the likes of Onra and Oriol. A lovely album to warm up your cold winter days.
