Altered Sense continue to give the gift of invigorating electronic music with a series of acid and breakbeat onslaughts from Detroit's own Jared Wilson. Not one to shy away from the 303s, Wilson presents an album of corrosive synths that, as the title might suggest, hearken back to a classic acid sound, mixed in with an array of shuffling, stumbling breaks. The angry, animalistic bass of 'ReUp 2' makes like a bull and charges head on, meanwhile drum samples on 'Spider Bags' fold in on themselves, skittering like a thousand insect legs.
