Inspired by the ubiquitous hype for long-time associate Keplrr’s Club Reconstructed EP, Control Freak Recordings has gathered up a slate of expertly crafted remixes from some fine producers in celebration. On the A side, ‘Convection’ gets two versions: an intoxicating techno reshuffle with bursts of acid lines and a vortex of builds and breakdowns courtesy of Holding Hands' Desert Sound Colony and a sleeker, bass-rattling downtempo take from Nous’klaer Audio's Konduku. The B side continues the trend with a dip into some dark 'doom ragga' via Wisdom Teeth, Ansia and 81's Piezo. Despite each artists' personal takes, the entrancing spirit and intricate sound design of Keplrr’s original tunes still holds present in these new versions. More than a sum of its various parts, the Club Reconstructed EP's meticulous attention to detail throughout is deadly.
