Formed in Wümme in 1971, Faust is thought to be one of the most experimental of the core early Krautrock groups. Initially released ten years after their disbandment under the title Munich & Elsewhere, the 71 Minutes compilation comprises some of the band’s “lost” and unreleased material, including the entirety of Faust Party 3. The second in a series of planned reissues of the highly influential German group’s work, ReR is finally making this hypnotic work available once again.
