Border Community rarely fail to inspire and bewitch, and so it transpires with this full-length debut, proper from Norwich's Luke Abbott. Much like label mates Holden, Fake, Tobar, Abbott is beautifully adept at contorting analogue synth functions into great plumes melody; manipulating his gear into a hazy dreamscape that variously resembles Cluster, BOC, Harmonia, Tangerine Dream or the deep, psychedelic click styles of Move D. An eccentric, curiously British record bursting with autumnal life.
