The Detroit polymath has always been known for his lurid, filth ridddled take on life, XXX is no different. Inspired by the great American Stripclub, Edgar layers up humid electro-funk flavours, synth bass dripping with sweat and bumped up R&B sleaze. All this is shot through under the glare of sodium light, neon-sizzled chrome melodies and complex analogue drum patterns. Massive tip for Dam-Funk,  Machinedrum, Clark fans.
