Jimmy Edgar is back with this X-rated record, his second full length proper, landing for !K7. The Detroit polymath has always been known for his lurid, filth ridddled take on life, XXX is no different. Inspired by the great American Stripclub, Edgar layers up humid electro-funk flavours, synth bass dripping with sweat and bumped up R&B sleaze. All this is shot through under the glare of sodium light, neon-sizzled chrome melodies and complex analogue drum patterns. Massive tip for Dam-Funk,  Machinedrum, Clark fans.
