Levon Vincent returns to his own Novel Sound for more exquisitely crafted and hypnotic house explorations on Julius Caesar. Deeply prolific, the New York veteran has already released Cosmic Enchantment, We Will Dance Together Again, and All Good in 2021. ‘Julius Caesar’ takes things into transcendent territory, with the slow building stabs of the title track complimenting film-score-ready piano. On the flip side, ‘Years of your Life’ provides familiar Vincent energy in the form of immense, crispy drum hits and ascendant synth strings.
