SKY H1's debut full length for AD 93 is an album of remembrance and tribute both personal and cultural: The title is reference to the artist's mother, with Azure chosen as an invocation of memories for her with the album also recorded in her dedication. While the track titles themselves make reference to the legendary Access Virus synthesiser, first released in 1997 and a pivotal force in not only many electronic forms but a wide array of genres throughout the next decades. SKY H1 embodies this influence across the scope of her full length taking the breadth of Continuum aesthetics she has worked with before, while also transcending them at the same time, in a heady melange of pulses, breaks and ambient spaces.
